Inheriting Magic is about how grief, being a mom of three, having a deep love for party planning, and being passionate about the holidays turned what could have been an ordinary life into something enchanting. Through it, Jennifer inspires all readers to add more love, light, and the making of core memories into their everyday lives.
Friday night is supposed to be a bad night for television, but you wouldn’t know it from the success of “Ghost Whisperer,” premiering its fifth season on Sept. 25. But first, Jennifer Love Hewitt is on the ET stage with Mary Hart to give her the scoop on the new season and boyfriend Jamie Kennedy.
“I followed Jamie on his comedy tour,” Jennifer tells Mary when asked what she did on her hiatus. “I went around with him to tons of cities and I sold T-shirts at his shows.” Jamie is also Jennifer’s co-star. He plays Eli James, who can hear the dead but not see them. “It’s really nice to have someone you love and care about next to you, because we can hold each other up when the schedule gets long and things like that,” Jennifer says.
Mary also gets Jennifer to reveal a surprise from season five: There will be a significant time jump, so Melinda’s (Hewitt) newborn son Aidan will now be five years old and he will share his mother’s gift. “He’s going to be far more gifted than Melinda could ever be,” she says. And that’s not all. Jennifer will be directing more episodes this season, like the season premiere.
Ghost Whisperer’s fifth season premieres Friday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
