Rather, the newly-single Ghost Whisperer star and self-professed romantaholic has been tapped to guest star in the promising NBC pilot from Sex and the City scribe Cindy Chupack.
Details about her cameo are being kept under wraps, but a Peacock insider tells me that Hewitt will play herself. My guess? One of the show’s lovelorn leads — portrayed by Ugly Betty’s Becki Newton and My Boys’ Jordana Spiro — will meet Hewitt at a signing for her new memoir-slash-advice book, The Day I Shot Cupid. But I’m just spitballing.
Love Bites is an anthology-esque dramedy that follows three loosely connected stories of love, dating, and marriage each week.
